just amazed at the shear stupidity of taking a fabulous line like 'Unleashed' and turning it into a 2" line (Like they don't have small enough figures with 'Attacktix) I guess I'm going to be saving some serious coin when it comes to SW product. I just hope they don't decide to change
/add / subtract anything else at this point <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">no idea if it's true, but someone said that on the white board...I spoke with the guy at the Hasbro booth, and he laid out their plans in some detail. He said the 2 inch line is cool for people who want to do troop building, as it is easier, and cheaper, to get these new figures. The same sculptors and artists are working this project. He also said that they were doing it so they could create entire scenes from the movies, not just 2 linkable figures. Eventually the line will return to the 7 inch scale, but not for awhile. Marketing wise, its a very familiar strategy. THey want to entice younger children to buy these figures, because if you hook 'em when they're young, they stick around longer. From playing with toys, to collecting them when thy're older. Sound familiar?

there was some discussion about this at tfw2005 what the idea would bee , I can say most of them agrred with you a transforming character is just dumb, They should just have done the vechiels into a bot and give it a TF name like
Optimus Prime = Millenium Falcon
Sideswipe = Obi ones starfighet ( red )
Sunsteeaker = Anakins starfighet ( yellow )
Grimlock = Cargo ship from EP5
Prowl = Snowspeeder
Bubmblebee = Naboo Fighter
Megatron = AT-AT Walker
Starscream = Tie Intercepter
Skywarp = Tie Fighter
Thundercracker = Tie Bomber
Soundwave = At-ST
Astrotrain = Republic Gunship
This is just a generall idea btu this could actually work but perhapps some vechiecls are not fitted to be transformers but this idea sounds way cooler then the other crappy idea
I don't know if you can blame it on Lucas, but you can blame it on moronic Hasbro powers that be for sure.
I doubt Hasbro can do anything with the SW license unless it gets approved by Lucas in one way or another...

Organic beings just don't lend themselves to Transformers. A droid I can see, but Luke Skywalker? Dumb.
Yeah, some sound disastrous.
Which is why I'm eager to see what they look like.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah, that's probably true. Damn is this a dumb fucking idea.Originally posted by Spore:
